Food!

Growing up with a Polynesian dad, food is a priority. My dad is the best cook I know, so naturally, I wanted to try to learn his tricks of the trade. I have always had a love for eating, but now I am finding a new love for cooking. 

I may not be the best cook, or the most patient, which is why most of my recipes will be quick things with minimal ingredients. There is the occasional day that I have a few free hours to spoil myself with some indulgently long recipe, but that is rare. My interest in cooking really sparked when I went on this health kick, that has now become a lifestyle, but because I am a grad student it's hard to find time to sleep, let alone cook. Needless to say, I heavily reply on Pinterest and stalking other people's blogs, but that's what makes it all so fun.

Most of the things I post here will have an underlying factor of being quick and healthy, at least that's my goal. Feel free to try them all! Be willing to fail once or twice, and try adding or substituting things as you please! Let me know how it turns out, I always love to hear if other people liked them!
